Weekly Blog on creativity and what it takes to be an artist by David Limrite (artist, teacher, mentor & coach)

“The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”
Henry Miller

Creating is so much more than just making stuff.

Its really more about self expression, communication, expansion, learning, growing, exploring, experimenting, challenging yourself, and being involved in a process.

It’s also about fun, joy and exhilaration.

And, it’s really about effort. The more effort you put into creating, the more creative you will become. (And, the more confident you will become, as well).

Remember that the activity, (the process), is at the heart of the whole concept of creating and creativity.

The activity is where you want to be.

Activity creates energy.

Energy creates momentum.

And, momentum is everything.

Momentum produces results.
