Me, challenging myself and investing in the process.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work… love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

~Steve Jobs

Creativity is…

- Choosing to attempt to create

- Challenging yourself to do it well

- Investing in time, process and self

- How you choose to approach the challenge

- Deciding to use your talent and passion

- Beginning

- Having the courage to try

- Focusing on getting better

- Not allowing resistance, distractions, procrastination, negative self-talk, doubt, and perfectionism deter you

- Focusing on learning and growth, rather than on right or wrong

- Aiming for excellence

- Realizing that there will be difficulties, setbacks, disappointments, and failures. And creating anyway

- Working on a project that interests you, and one that reflects your perspective, your aesthetics and your point of view

- Enjoying the process of bringing forth something tangible from what was once just the spark of an idea

- Building momentum and seeing where it takes you

- Trusting your intuition and the process

- The pursuit of your passion
