I intend to get out into the studio and do my work.
My work does matter and I am the only person who can do my work.
I am excited about my current direction and nothing is going to stop me.
I love being in my studio. It is my sanctuary. It is the place where I want to be, especially when life is tugging at me.
Not only do I love my current body of work, I also love the process of making my work. I cannot wait to see how what I did to my painting yesterday looks like today. I am excited to discover what direction my work will take me today.
I love the feel of it, the smell of it, the experience of it, the look of it. I love the process. There is no where else I would rather be and nothing else I would rather be doing. I cannot wait to enter my studio to feel alive again.
I am an artist. I create things. That is what I do. Right now. Creating is crucial for me right now. It is what is most honest and true for me right now. I am passionate about making art and I am passionate about what I am currently creating.
Just thinking about getting out into my studio makes me happy. I cannot wait to see what I will do next. I have been thinking about this current painting all day and now it is time to put that thinking into practice. Bring it into reality.
I intend to put my ideas down on canvas and see what happens. If nothing else, the process will be fun and just the act of putting paint on canvas will make me happy.
