“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

~Theodore Roosevelt

Trust your creativity to pull you back from fear and doubt. Trust what you already know how to do.

Focus on what you want to create and you will unleash a torrent of energy and enthusiasm.

Create and let your images emerge and appear.

Love the process.

Free yourself to express your creativity and allow it to surface.

Be open and vulnerable. Take action in spite of fear, and be amazed at what happens. Vulnerability leads to courage.

Every new piece is an act of courage and faith.

You must continue to create even if you have no idea what comes next. Not knowing is ok.

Show up and do your thing as often as you can.

Have the courage to start, and then trust your creativity.

BTW, for all of you living in San Luis Obispo County, I will be speaking at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art on Thursday, March 3 at 12 noon, as part of their new Art At High Noon program. The title of my talk will be: WE ARE ALL CREATIVE. I hope you will attend. I would love to see you there.
