THE UNEXPECTED

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.”

~Albert Einstein

As a creator you must expect the unexpected. Especially when you are trying something new, taking risks, experimenting, exploring and pushing limits. Which is pretty much every time you pick up a paintbrush or pencil.

When the unexpected happens, embrace it. The unexpected could be the best thing to happen to your current work in progress.

When the unexpected happens, enjoy it. Part of the fun of creating is when the unexpected happens. The happy accident. The pleasant surprise.

When the unexpected happens, learn from it. Especially when the unexpected thing that happens does not work for you.

Don’t try to avoid the unexpected by playing it safe.

Know that the unexpected will happen and create anyway.

Best,

David
